The theme
Black-tie with a casino-floor shimmer. Think art-deco, tailored, sequins-not-sparkle-burst. If it would look at home in a Rat Pack supper club or a high-roller suite, you're on-theme.
Please avoid
Gold, emerald green, and white, those are the wedding party's colors. Everything else is open season. Black, jewel tones, midnight, and shimmer are all encouraged.

Recommended palette
Ladies
Formal gowns, sparkle, sequins, jewel tones, deep plum, sapphire, ruby, black. Anything that moves on the dance floor and catches the light.
Gentlemen
Tuxedo or dark suit. Black, midnight blue, or charcoal. Bow tie strongly encouraged. A pocket square is a nice touch, and yes, the photos will thank you.
Footwear
The ceremony's outdoors on a smooth concrete patio. Heels, flats, formal sneakers, all of it works. Pick the shoes you actually want to dance in.
